Hi,
All our computer servers who are member of an active directory domain are imported in lansweeper with active scanning.
This week we inserted a description on the computer object in active directory.
Now we want to see the computer description also in lansweeper.
I waited 3 day's and the computer description isn't available yet in lansweeper.
I also changed the scan wait time for "OS" in the lansweeper configuration utillity (topic "Scan Wait Time for local Computer Description") to null, but that doesn't work for me
Who can I quickly sync the computer description from AD with the computer description in lansweeper?
For example see attachment.
Kind regards,
Roel

I know that some customers set the description in AD and create a system startup script to sync the name with AD.
This might also help: http://www.lansweeper.com/forum/yaf_postst417_Change-the-computer-description.aspx

The description shown in lansweeper is the description of the actual computer (when you click control panel/system you can change this)
The active directory descriptions are stored in table "tbladcomputers" and can be seen on the computer's action page.
