The Managed Object Browser is disabled by default in vSphere 6.0 (2108405)
Is there anyway around this for scanning vSphere 6.0 Hosts?
I know I can enable it, but other than that are there alternatives for scanning hosts?

To scan details of VMware hosts we need access to MOB. Scanning of host data from vCenter is on our wish-list and was requested by several other users as well, but because of the release of our helpdesk and other features this still is a small way down the road.

Yes, I'd agree that scanning via vCenter would be a feature I would love to see added.
