Hi
I am a premium user of lansweeper. I am having an issue with our two domains.
Our company having two locations which are connected through site-to-site VPN. The two locations have their own Domains/Domaincontrollers. The domains are not thrusted, but they sync their dns server. I`m working on the first location and lansweeper software are installaed on a server. I have configured the two domains and lansweeper find the machines in both domains. But if i want execute an custom action, like remote connect with vnc, lansweeper want connect with the machine name! If i want connect to a machine in the remote network, they cant resolve the machines ip, because the fqdn is not used.
The name resolution works fine between the network, if i use the fqdn machine1.domain2.local. In the domain lansweeper is installed all works fine, because the name resolution works without fqdn.
Regards
Nicky

Yes, it's already implemented in the future 4.0 release.

You can use {ipaddress} as variable or you can configure your machine with an extra dns server as seen on this page (bottom) http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/untrusted.aspx
