We have multiple word and visio documents for each of our critical server assets. With the new feature under assets to store documents, we would like to be able to store the word and the visio document for each. Unfortunately, when attempting to upload a .VSD file, we receive the error -

error: file extension ('.vsd') is not alllowed.

On the server, the mime types for visio files is defined. Where can we customize the file extensions that are allowed? If not available via a table in SQL, which file can be edited to add the .VSD extension to the allowed list. BTW - The misspelling of the word allowed ("alllowed") is the way the message is displayed on screen.

Love the new features in Lansweeper 5 and very excited to get the documents feature fully available for our servers.

Without knowing the current list, I will post the document/file types that we currently have in place for documenting our servers and appliances.

As some of the older documents get refreshed/updated, we will be saving them in the newer formats. Until then, we need to be able to support each of the above if we are to leverage the new lansweeper feature of attaching documents to the assets.

Also, would it be possible to give us the ability to adjust the max file size that can be uploaded? Thank you for all you have done with this great product, so far!

We'll make sure these are included in our next update.

There is currently a bug in the maximum file size. It is meant to be 50MB.

There is a built-in list of allowed file extensions, which you cannot modify for security reasons. We will add .vsd to the allowed extensions in our next update. Are there any additional extensions we should add?

This will be fixed in our next update.
