Downloaded the upgrade and followed the instructions. We had 3.1 and are upgrading to 3.2 and so downloaded the upgrade package.

Am I right in thinking that the ONLY parts of the website that are affected in the upgrade from 3.1 to 3.2 are two files? And that the step about amending the connection_string is redundant?

I have done everything and all seems OK...just seemed too simple.

Cheers.

That's all I did. It seemed to work, but as I said, seemed to simple too.

Bulldog, I don't understand if I have to replace only the two aspx files to upgrade the website...

And you need to run the sql changes first + replace the service

Yeah. I had downloaded the premium user version of he lansweeper service file, and it captured some AD data, but it began causing WMI errors (RPC Server is Unavailable) when I hadn;t had them previously so I swapped it back out.

Did you also downloaded the new premium user pack?
The active directory computer scanning is included in the premium version.

You need to replace you service with the one of the premium user pack.

A couple of other things.

I note the new panel on the machine details page which has several fields for AD info. The panel is currently blank. Is there something I need to do, to enable that information to be captured?

Has the documentation been updated to explain the features of 3.2? It wasn't included in the upgrade package.
