Web page hangs after first load of Web Console

Just downloaded and isntalled on windows 2003 server with SQL Server Express. I am running a Premium trial key.

Every time I visit the web console, it comes up the first time, then all other accesses time out. I have to do "iisreset /restart" to get it going again, then it hangs after the next page load.

this is a pretty vanillia w2k3 setup. any idea what's wrong?

Update: This only seems to happen with the Digital Dashboard page is loaded, the other pages work until you hit that page, then everything stops working.

Put lansweeperservice on a different server ...

With the default install you have only 15 threads, so this shouldn't be the problem.

How many computers are already scanned?

No, there didn't seem to be any errors anywhere.

Update: There weren't any errors in the event log. On first load of the Digital Dashboard, I didn't see any errors either. Subsequent attempts to access the web console fail with timeout errors. shutting down IIS fails witha service did not respond error. iisreset /restart forcibly kills IIS and restarts it successfully.
