Can you set up a custom field to be read only in the web console user interface?

Can you set up a custom field to be read only in the web console user interface? I'd like to set up a background process to populate the field but don't want users to be able to modify the value. we are running v. 11.2.0.

Currently, Lansweeper does not offer the ability to configure a custom field as read-only in the web console. All custom fields remain editable by users with the appropriate permissions.

However, as an alternative, you can restrict users from editing assets altogether through role-based access control. While this would prevent modifications to all asset details (not just the custom field), it might not fully align with your specific use case.
