I have a new laptop with Windows 7 on it join my network.
Lansweeper can not scan it.
This is my first experience with Windows 7, my network has only machines with XP.
I notice that new version has a fix for Windows 7 clients.
Stupid question of the day.
How do I check version I have? It says 4.0.0.113 on "Lansweeper configuration".

Even the old version was able to scan Windows 7 somewhat.

What is the error message?

Pretty much go back to the basics and you should be fine. Make sure firewall is turned off, Lansweeper is the admin and all that.
