Engaged Sweeper
So my purchase order/inventory guy was trying store all his previous orders in Lansweeper and he ran into this issue. Basically he was trying to store our license info for Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate, and some other older stuff but he could not.

We are doing this under Licenses>Software License Tracking and trying to add a new License name.

So two questions:

How does the information in the Licenses area get populated?

How can we manually add something not found in that list?

Robert

The software list provided is a list of software installed on scanned Windows computers. If a software package is not installed (or the machines it's installed on haven't been scanned), it won't be included in the list.

You can manage software that hasn’t been scanned by using the following workaround:
• Hit the Add New License button.
• Select a RANDOM software package and hit Add. It does not matter which software package you choose.
• Edit the name of the license item and/or software package by placing your cursor in the line, making the necessary change and hitting Enter.
