Engaged Sweeper

Hi.

I am looking into integrating LanSweeper into another product.  I have a trial API key and access to the demo data site.   I have two related questions about this demo data.   a) is this 'shared' between all demo users (it looks like it) and b) is this data realistic?  A lot looks like it is test / random data and not necessarily very realistic (but I could be wrong).

Is there a 'clean' test data set available to test the API with at all anywhere?

Thanks

Steve

Thank you Ethan, yes I could do that and probably will.

I suppose what I was looking / hoping for was a large (100s, 1000s of devices) and realistic test data set I could develop against without need to run a real setup (which on my network here would only have a small number of  devices).

Thanks

Hello Steve,

The demo site you are most likely referring to is shared between multiple users. There are connected installations to this demo site so there is realistic data within this site. However, users are able to create their own assets, so it is possible that assets without completely filled in data will exist within this site. If this site does not fit your testing needs for any reason you could potentially create your own test on-prem installation and link it to a cloud site. Instructions on how to do so can be found below:
