Chromebooks

I understand Lansweeper cannot scan for chromebooks and that is okay. I was going to add them manually.

I downloaded the template to do a mass import since we have over 1000 chromebooks, however column F in the spread sheet template labeled 'AssettType'will not let me select chromebook as the type.


If I go to New Asset and click the drop-down for type on lansweeper..... chromebook is an option. ( I think I added it a few weeks ago)

Is there a way to get this asset type added to the import template?

You will have to slightly modify the Excel template so you can select the new asset type you added.

Go to one of the Assettype fields and follow the following article to add the Chromebook asset type from the Assets tab.
