Hello,

I've been asked to exclude a number of IP addresses because they are duplicates of the same assets.

Although Lansweeper can scan MAC addresses and avoid duplicates, we are concerned about the efficiency of scanning the same asset multiple times.

We would like to optimize our process to avoid this issue. Can someone help me?

Lansweeper does not scan an asset multiple times if it have multiple MAC addresses or IPs, it does pull all the information, including multiple MAC addresses or IPs, during the scan. Then, it processes the information and creates separate assets or merge the information into one single asset, depending on its settings.
