Guess I never managed to search the right keywords and find this earlier:
http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/24/how-to-scan-with-LsPush.html
My original question is already answered there.
=== Original Question ===
We have had the premium version for many years now and have been very happy with its scanning abilities and almost limitless custom reporting.
The way we provision our laptops and desktops for our sales force does not require them to use VPN to the main office; instead, we are using RemoteApp or good old RDC as needed. So we do not have a way to auto scan them or to track changes as the devices are not on the local network. We do not want to use VPN for various reasons.
So now to the question. Is there a way for LSPush to generate a scan file that we can then import in the Lansweeper DB? As far as I know, LSPush requires access to the server to "upload" its results. We would like to be able to create a small script that we can send to our remote folks and they run it and email us back the scan results.
