Looking at the change log page, http://www.lansweeper.com/changelog.aspx, it looks like Lansweeper 5.0 initial release implemented this feature.

Does this mean also MacOSX clients are going to support Lspush scanning as well?

Our LsPush scanning agent can currently only be used to scan Windows computers. A scanning agent for non-Windows assets is on our customer wish list, but we do not have an estimated release date for it at this time. The Mac scanning article linked in my previous post explains how to scan Mac computers without a scanning agent.

Just some additional info: you can update your Lansweeper installation to the latest version by following these instructions and scan Mac computers by following these instructions.
