Lansweeper is thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to our Software Management capabilities on Sites: the introduction of advanced normalized Software data. This upgrade represents a major stride in our commitment to delivering high-quality IT solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of organizations.
🎉 What's New
We're excited to unveil our enhanced data enrichment engine, which focuses on standardizing naming conventions across our platform to ensure a cohesive and uniform software dataset. Lansweeper’s taxonomy is linked to the UNSPSC standard, further ensuring smoother integration for a globally recognized standard. This update results in normalized software data, eliminating post-scanning inconsistencies in naming conventions. Users can now benefit from a more insightful and detailed foundation for generating comprehensive reports and custom views
🧐 Where to Find It
Finding enriched software data is now easier than ever. Simply navigate to our Software management section, and you'll notice standardized naming conventions across our platform (including asset pages). This uniformity streamlines the process of accessing critical software information, enhancing your ability to make informed decisions.

great feature but normalization is bugged. an example? software openssl version 3.0.10 has been reported as 3.0.1, so for Lansweeper I have old version installed and CVE opened to manage.
