Hi there,

as stated in the topic/subject we want to shrink the software overview, to only see 3rd party programs and not the default things like hardware drivers, windows updates, .net framework and so on. So that we have a "real" count of installed products without for example ati catalyst listed in 28 different versions and editions.

Is it possible to tag the entries by hand with tags like "driver", "update", "mandatory", "imaging", "office", "tools" and stuff like that to get a closer and much more "ordered" view of things?

A feature / hint like that would make it much easier to see what we actually have in installed instead of scrolling through ( atm 704 ) entries, which include nearly 50% default "crap" ?

Another feature we did not find or that does not exist is the ability to lock to sort order in the installed software overview. After every click you have to change the sort order to alphabetical again...

Thanks a lot, yours, PICE

Thank you for your feedback. I moved this topic to the wish-list section. This will be considered as soon as we revise the whole software detection mechanism. For the moment, this still has lower priority due to other features to be released.

Regarding the default sort order: You can easily change it by opening the report, hitting Edit report, modifying the sort order of the columns and saving it.
