I don't think there has even been enough interest to implement this. However since (custom) charts aren't available in cloud yet, its possible this will get added when they are implemented.
Unfortunately it is not yet possible to change the colors in the pie chart widget. I've added your topic to the existing feature request to allow more customization to charts.
