Lansweeper user for several years ...
After much observation I have noticed Lansweeper in Active Mode generally scans in either blocks of names, IP order, or maybe what DC the scan request came from.
Since I have many physical locations, with medium bandwidth, but a central site with much higher bandwidth, a more random scan order would allow my scans to complete much faster overall.
I am already up to 60 threads, but I have some links that saturate them causing a slow down, while other locations are idle.
Maybe adding a config switch for a more random scan order would not be too difficult.
Pardon if this exists, I could not find anything related by searching.

Lansweeper works with a scanning queue: fifo, it's not possible to randomize this.
Maybe an additional scanning server in the low bandwidth site would solve your problem.
