Standard dump files are easy to check for, because they are always in %windir% and always named MEMORY.DMP. But minidump files are placed in %windir%\Minidump and named according to the timestamp, so a machine can have multiple minidumps.

As of now (6.0.0.63) Lansweeper File Scan cannot tell me if multiple files exist in a given folder.

Mainly what I'd like to see is a way to report on machines that have ANY minidump files.

As you indicate with your question, it is not possible to search for files using custom file scanning. You have to point towards a specific file. I've added this topic to the list of requested custom file scanning features.

I have used spacesniffer for the dump files directories. Maybe this will give you the details you needs, but also per machine action of a cmd for dir may be what you need?

I also have a scheduled task (runs a cmd file) pushed to all workstations (that don't reboot that often) via gpo to flush the dmp files.

del /s C:\*.dmp
