Engaged Sweeper
Lansweeper version - 5160

I was wondering if there is a way to query only scheduled task configured on windows servers and the account which they are using, we are in process of changing a service account password for security reasons would be investigating if Lansweeper can help collecting the data on servers already managed/monitored thru Lansweeper.

Thanks much!

Scanning items from Task Scheduler is unfortunately not something that Lansweeper does, if this is what you are referring to. We have added this feature to our customer wish list but are unable to give you a release date for that. The reason we don't scan scheduled tasks yet is because this information cannot easily be retrieved from WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation), the Windows protocol we get almost all of our data from.

This is unrelated to your question, but we do recommend updating to the latest Lansweeper release (5.3) by following the instructions in this knowledge base article. Scanning of scheduled tasks is not included yet, but we did add other features to recent Lansweeper releases (e.g. deployment) that you may find useful. It may even be possible to retrieve scheduled tasks with a deployment package, though there's no easy way to then add this information to your Lansweeper database.
