When the service pulls back the Product Keys set up in TsysSerials, it only seems to recognise the "ProductID" and the "DigitalProductID" values in the key specified.
For SQL 2005, the entries are actually suffixed with a numerical identifier (depending on 32/64 bit), so are, e.g. ProductID77654 and DigitalProductID77654, which consequently are not picked up by the scan.
If I add these keys to the "scanned registry keys" areas it only pulls back the string value, and ignores the binary digitalproductID77654 value. I can manually create new keys called ProductID/DigitalProductID under the relevant registry key, and copy the values of the orginal keys, and it does pull them back from the scan ... but I don't really want to have to do this for over 200 servers!
Is there anyway to configure the scan to pick up values begining with ProductID / DigitalProductID rather than just an exact match?
