Domain users are automatically scanned when they log into a computer during a computer scan. Additional users can also be scanned with Domain User Scanning.

Scanned Active Directory user attributes are stored in the tblADusers database table. To link this table to tblAssets, the main assets table, do the following:

  • Double-click on the tblADusers database table in the table list on the right to add the table to your report.
  • Left-click and drag the Username field in tblADusers to the Username field in tblAssets to create a link.
  • Left-click and drag the Userdomain field in tblADusers to the Userdomain field in tblAssets to create a link. You must link both the Username and Userdomain fields. A domain username in itself is not unique. If the same username exists in multiple scanned domains, linking just the Username fields will lead to incorrect results.
  • Right-click on the link between tblAssets and tblADusers and tick "Select all rows from tblAssets". If you don't do this, computers whose last logged on user doesn't have an entry in tblADusers (e.g. whose last logged on user is a local user) will be removed from the report results!
