I can't seem to get this Query to work as elegantly as I would like; can someone please assist with a report for

google chrome
version of google chrome
IP location

?

You can use a subquery in order to list only Google Chrome installations. Please find an example report below.

Select Top 1000000 tblAssets.AssetID,
  tblAssets.AssetName,
  tsysIPLocations.IPLocation,
  tblAssets.Lastseen,
  tChrome.softwareName,
  tChrome.softwareVersion
From tblAssets
  Inner Join tblAssetCustom On tblAssets.AssetID = tblAssetCustom.AssetID
  Left Join tsysIPLocations On tblAssets.IPNumeric >= tsysIPLocations.StartIP
    And tblAssets.IPNumeric <= tsysIPLocations.EndIP
