This would be easier to use and track for us as well! I've been going over PO's for the last few years to input the purchase date. I was waiting to complete the data entry aspect before posting, looks like someone beat me to it.
The BIOS date and device are unreliable thus far.
Someone in the hivemind should be able to get this???
