Engaged Sweeper III

Hi,

when will it be possible to create a custom report that shows the vulnerabilities found on each asset and that can be exported to Excel.

Are there any new Updates on this?

Hi @PaulK,

The new BI Dashboard is now available in preview for everyone. You can use it to create a table with a full list of your vulnerabilities, along with any asset details you need.

If you have any questions or run into issues accessing it, just let me know — I’ll be happy to help!

It is now Q1 of next year.  Has there been any update on the following question?  When will it be possible to create a custom report that shows the vulnerabilities found on each asset and that can be exported to Excel.

Hi @dbinder,

We are currently in beta with our BI dashboard solution, which allows you to explore and export vulnerabilities along with asset details. If you're interested in joining the program, feel free to sign up using [this form]. We'd be happy to include you!

Hi,

I must admit that such report is required for more LanSweeper users.

So I'm also looking for such solutions, and hope it will be sooner then later :).

Hi @Agnieszka,

Thanks for your feedback! I completely understand, and I agree that this type of report would be really helpful for many of our users. I’ll be sure to keep you updated as soon as it’s ready.

@Fabiola_F Keep an eye on this post in case you want to connect with customers to discuss the Report initiative.

I need a solution like the author of the thread describes. The solution you described @MariaOrellana , which is currently implemented, is not sufficient. We have over 1500 computers - exporting and viewing reports for each computer separately is very time-consuming.

I would like to have a report with columns CVE, Risc score, Asset Name, Affected Product, Last successful scan. (even if such a report has several dozen thousand rows - Excel will handle it)

Hi @Pablo1,

Thank you for reaching out. The ability to export all active CVEs with all vulnerable assets is not available at this time. You can rather export all active CVEs or export all vulnerable assets. You can also request all CVEs for all assets through the API. More info here: https://docs.lansweeper.com/docs/api/types#vulnerability

However, we are working on including a view that will allow you to export all this information from the platform. We hope to have something by Q1 next year.

Would you be so kind and explain a little bit what you would do with all that data once you have the file?

Thank you very much!

Due to the fact that in order to use the Deployment Package option in Lansweeper, you must have a local administrator account on all managed computers (so that LS could create tasks in the Task Scheduler as NT\SYSTEM), which is unacceptable in our organization. We must export such a report and use it in another tool that performs tasks with an agent (and not through the task scheduler).

It is not entirely clear to us why LS, despite having an agent, creates tasks in the task scheduler. Why can't it work like in other products, that the agent is used to perform tasks?
