I am by no means a SQL DBA. I am looking at the documentation provided by Lansweeper and looking at the training site they have linked to learn how to write this report, unfortunately It's Greek to me. What I need to do is run a report monthly that shows which assets have moved between our various locations.

We update AD and we are implementing Location Maps. I could run a report based on the location maps on a monthly basis and run a comparison in excel to exclude the same assets and leave only the one that have moved, but I would like to keep this in as few steps as possible.

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it.

Hi,

I think you would need to do this via the IP Address History, I don't believe historical data is held for Location , but it does for Network (Tables With HIST in the name) , have a look at this post https://www.lansweeper.com/forum/yaf_postst15762_Report-for-asset-IP-Location-change-s.aspx#post53155

Cheers
