I'd like a report that would be just like the report that shows that a server is missing the antivirus software. Something that I could run automatically and/or add to the dashboard that would show, for example, that a system doesn't have the Splunk forwarder installed on it. Is it possible to do such a report the way that I'm thinking of here?
Thanks in advance!

A sample report that lists computers *missing* a certain software package can be seen below. Replace YourSoftware with the name of the software package you would like to report on.
To use the report above, do the following:
• Open the report builder under Reports/Create New Report.
• Paste the SQL code we provided at the bottom of the page.
• Left-click somewhere in the upper section of the page so the code applies.
• Give the report a Title and hit the Save & Run button to save it. Export options are listed on the left.
Select Top 1000000 tsysAssetTypes.AssetTypeIcon10 As icon,
tblAssets.AssetID,
tblAssets.AssetName,
tblAssets.Domain,
tblAssets.IPAddress As IP,
tblAssets.Lastseen
From tblAssets
Inner Join tsysAssetTypes On tsysAssetTypes.AssetType = tblAssets.Assettype
Where tblAssets.AssetID Not In (Select tblSoftware.AssetID
From tblSoftware Inner Join tblSoftwareUni On tblSoftwareUni.SoftID =
tblSoftware.softID
Where tblSoftwareUni.softwareName Like '%YourSoftware%') And
tblAssets.Lastseen <> '' And tblAssets.Assettype = -1
Order By tblAssets.Domain,
tblAssets.AssetName
To use the report above, do the following:
• Open the report builder under Reports/Create New Report.
• Paste the SQL code we provided at the bottom of the page.
• Left-click somewhere in the upper section of the page so the code applies.
• Give the report a Title and hit the Save & Run button to save it. Export options are listed on the left.
