How can I log in from a different domain?
Answer
When opening up the Lansweeper login screen of your on-prem Lansweeper web console, the domain value will be automatically populated with the domain name of your Lansweeper web server. This behavior is intended and cannot be changed. You can log in with users from another domain, but you need to specify a different domain than the default by manually typing the domain name with your username, using this syntax: Domain \ Username
Do keep in mind that for users to be able to log on to the Lansweeper web console, they should either be located in:
- The domain of the Lansweeper web server.
- A trusted domain or the same forest as the Lansweeper web server.
