Problem Statement
When inviting users to join an existing Lansweeper Cloud Site, some users are able to accept the invitation and access the site successfully, while others are prompted to create a new Cloud Site during the acceptance process. Instead of being directed to the existing site, these users are presented with a site creation workflow, preventing them from joining the intended Cloud Site.
Solution
This behavior occurs when the invited user’s account has not been verified. Users who are invited to a Lansweeper Cloud Site must verify their account within 24 hours by following the instructions in the email verification message.
If the account is not verified within this timeframe, the invitation cannot be completed as intended, and the user may be redirected to a Cloud Site creation flow instead of being added to the existing site.
To resolve this issue, the Site Owner should resend the account verification email to the affected users and ensure they complete the verification process before attempting to accept the site invitation again.
