Question

Is Lansweeper able to discover and inventory newly added subscriptions within an Azure tenant?

Answer

Lansweeper’s Azure Cloud Discovery is configured on a per-tenant basis. Within each tenant, you can specify which subscriptions to include when setting up the Discovery Action in Lansweeper Sites. New Azure subscriptions within the same tenant are not automatically added to the discovery scope.

To include a newly created subscription, follow these steps:

  • Go to Lansweeper Sites → Scanning → Discovery Actions.
  • Edit your existing Azure Cloud Discovery action.
  • Refresh or re-read the available subscriptions from the tenant.
  • Select the new subscription(s) and save your changes.
  • Allow the next discovery cycle to run so the new subscription is scanned.
