Lansweeper Cloud is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which uses dynamic IP address allocation. Because AWS IP ranges change over time, customers who need to whitelist our cloud services by IP address must reference AWS’s published IP range data.

Obtaining AWS IP Ranges

AWS maintains an up-to-date list of all public IP ranges here:
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/aws-ip-ranges.html

From that page, you can download a JSON file containing all AWS IP addresses. The file can be filtered by AWS region to identify only the ranges relevant to Lansweeper Cloud.

Relevant AWS Regions for Lansweeper Cloud

  • EU Cloud: eu-west-1

  • US Cloud: us-east-2

Staying Up to Date

Because AWS IP allocations are dynamic, the ranges may change. AWS provides a subscription mechanism on the same documentation page that allows you to receive automatic notifications when IP ranges are updated. We strongly recommend subscribing to ensure your firewall or network settings remain accurate over time.

Disclaimer

While whitelisting by IP address is supported, it is not the recommended approach. AWS IP ranges change frequently, requiring customers to monitor and update their configurations regularly. For this reason, whitelisting by domain name (URL) is the preferred method, as it reduces maintenance effort and ensures continued access without manual updates. You can find the correct URLs here: https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/sites/cloud-requirement-sync-server-internet-access/ta-p/64525
