Hi Admin,

please update me on this. I have 3 seperate building and they are on seperate vlans. I have tried installing lansweeper and for security issues there is no connection between 3 building (firewalled on a domain level). My question is will it possible that i can have a single server running lansweeper website and sql and have 3 seperate pc's on which the lansweeper service will be installed and then i can point the 3 scanners to that single server. Will this work ?

Thanks,
Moss

Hi,

I could not get this to work. It does not scan in any of the places. What details do I enter in other sections of the alternate credentials. It asks me for domain name and username password. I tried my domain name in it and then in the username as ".\administrator" and password as the password for the local admin password on the client machines.

Please note my admin name and password on the server on which is the service is enabled, that scans is different from the entire client machines. Will this stop it from scanning.

Kind Regards,
Moss

In alternate credentials use ".\administrator" for the username

Thanks for your quick reply. I was having some conversation with our networks team. The network just blocks the domain user account group scanning outside each sub networks, but this should work if the scanning is done through local admin group rather than the domain user account.

Can you please let me know how and where to change the credentials so that i would like to use local machine admin account to scan all the machines rather than the domain account.

I would like to get the lansweeper scanning done through local machine admin account instead of domain account. I hope this can be done?

Kind Regards,
Moss

Yes, you need the enterprise version for this.
You need to point the 3 scanning services to the central database.
