Hi,
When I am in action screen of Lansweeper I want to use the command's such as screengrab and ping, but when I start the command
nothing happens. When I start a dos prompt (cmd) and start the command 'screengrab.exe' everything works fine
I added the path in the enviroment variables but that does not help I rechecked the path and that is okay.
So where do I have to place the commands so the Javascript "runapp" can start those commands ?

thanks
Victor

If anyone else is a FireFox user and wants to be able to use all the nifty commands on the action screen, I recommend installing the "IE Tab" add-on for FireFox. No more IE for me!

Whoa, that looks a bit hairy. I think I may just stay with IE. 🙂

I haven't tried it but you can try this : http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/control.htm

I am able to make these commands work in IE by adding all the tools to my c:\windows\system32 directory (or any other directory specified in my PATH variable) but I do have a problem. None of these tools will work when I'm using FireFox, which I use 99.9% of the time. Actually, LANSweeper is the only thing that I currently use IE for. Is there a way to make all this work in FireFox?

Thanks

Victor,

Did you change the internet explorer security configuration (see the documentation)
Do you get a javascript error?

None of the premium commands wil work from the action screen even ping!
Even when I put screengrab.exe in the map http://nlehvinvent01/lansweeper31 it does'nt work

You need to have the files on the workstation where you browse the web site.
Are you able to launch the other commands (ping, ...)
