Engaged Sweeper
I am sorry if this has been asked and answered, but I am unable to find it.

We really like LanSweeper and what it can do for us.

I am not a SQL programmer so having trouble finding where to get this done.

1. I would like to know the proper/quick way to enter data in the Custom Fields. I know that I can select the computer to bring up the properties, then select Custom Fields Tab, enter the information and Save Changes. However I would like to be able to see that in a table that I can enter one right after another instead of jumping back and forth between computers.

2. Is there a way to import from an Excel sheet right into the Custom Fields, as I have the information in Excel so I wouldn't have to rekey them.

Again, I am sorry it this is somewhere that I should have looked but so far unable to find the answers anywhere.

You will need some SQL knowledge to do this.

You can create an odbc link from excel or msaccess to the sql server.
You need to edit/add table "tblcompcustom"
