Additional fields for tblADusers?

We use several additional attributes in the user schema.

If the columns are added to the tblADusers would they be recognized & scanned as part of Domain User Scanning?

Would the website be able to display them or require custom modification that would be lost during updates?


No problem to tinker with database, or add and/or update code for portal, just not sure if the DUS will even recognize the additional columns in the table...

No, as scanning is performed by the Lansweeper service, not by the database. Adding columns to do the database has no impact on what the service does.

We do not provide support for scanning additional AD attributes. You would have to write your own tool to retrieve the information and write it into the database. Note that custom database changes may be overwritten and/or cause problems during upgrades.

Additional AD scanning is planned for a future update, but we do not yet have a release date for this feature.
