I did have the classic RPC Server Unavailable problem when I installed, but I did get my client workstations to connect. I had to manually add port 135 and port 1665 to the windows firewall to get the Lansweeper test connection utility to work. I did modify my GPO and verified it was working by enabling and disabling File and Print Sharing and checking to see if it modified the my firewall exception settings. If you look at the Scope in the Firewall Status just below marked in red, I'm not sure what that applies to. We just re-addressed our office here and that is the old subnet. If that is applying to the Remote Admin Mode then maybe that's my problem. I don't mess around with windows firewall that much to know, but that's the only problem I have found in all my troubleshooting.
*I discovered these ports were needed by running the security logging under the advanced tab in the windows firewall.
I will continue to look into this, but if any of you know how to modify this scope that would be great.

The reason my scope did not change was that my firewall GPO was not set to "enforced". Once I enabled the " Allow Remote Administration exception" in Group Policy and set the scope to "*", I then needed to set the policy to "enforced" and the changes went through. I already had an existing GPO for firewalls in our domain and did not notice that the policy was not set to enforced. I'm all set.

Thanks for responding to my post. Although my GPO is modifying other settings on our MS firewalls for some reason it is not changing the scope for the Remote Admin setting. I have made the changes you suggest and the scope has not changed to date. I will continue to troubleshoot and will post when I get this corrected.

The scope does indeed apply to incoming connections.
You can change it to "*" to allow incoming connections from everywhere (or just from the ip of the lansweeper server)
