Hello there!
If you are using an IP Range scanning target, you can enable the option Ignore Windows. If checked, Windows computers within the IP range will not be scanned. For more information, you can refer to the following KB article: https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/scanning-your-network/scanning-with-an-ip-range-scanning-target/...
Additionally, you can exclude asset types from scanning as explained here: https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/scanning-your-network/exclude-assets-from-scanning/ta-p/64320. Excluding an asset type from scanning only prevents assets of the specified type from being added to the database. It doesn't prevent Lansweeper from querying assets of the specified type, as a device's asset type cannot be determined without querying the device.
If the asset was already scanned prior to excluding or changing your scanning setup, it will not automatically be removed from your database. You can always delete the asset separately. https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/managing-assets/delete-assets/ta-p/64319
