Engaged Sweeper
Hello,
Running Lansweeper v5.1.0.50

Inside of Configuration there is a section called "Website Management" under this you find "asset pages". Here I'm using the "Asset Custom Fields" to fill in additional information for each of our servers....

example:
Custom Field | Display name | Type | Values (comma-seperated)
Custom01 | Server Owner | Combobox | Names of the server owners

From the example above the Display name for Server Owner was Custom1 - I've changed it to "Server Owner" like shown above.

when I run a custom report I created, using the custom fields, the display name "Custom1" shows up as the column name instead of "Server Owner" like I've labeled it in the "Asset Custom Fields" section.

Bug?

any thoughts on why this would be showing up like that?

thanks!

This is expected behavior. You can only change the web console display names of the fields; you can't change the internal names of the database fields. (In theory you could, but this would break your Lansweeper installation.)

You will need to assign aliases to the fields to change their display names within your report. Add values to the Alias column of the expression list.
