Can you turn off Software Version in "Software Overview"?

I am curious if anyone know if it is possible to turn off the Software version number in the "Software Overview" list. I am tired of seeing several entries for each piece of software we use.

You cannot do this for the "Software Overview" page, which is automatically generated. Changing the behavior of automatically generated pages would require additional manual changes to your installation, which we do not support. Such changes may cause problems during upgrades.

You can however, as sadhana pointed out, modify the built-in report "Software: All installed software" or create a report of your own. Note that removing the version field from the report will also remove the links that point a software package to a list of machines it's installed on.

Yes we can.In the configuration console select the report builder,then choose"all installed software"and select edit option where u can disable the "tblSoftware.softwareVersion" option in the table.If you do so,we cant see the version details in the list.
