Hi,
I have an enterprise setup, where I have a central database server, and several scanning services sending their data to the database server.
The database server is configured with two nic, I have a network requirement where I now need to change a scanning server to point to another network interface with a different ip, how can I do this without damaging data etc. The database server is the same, but has two ips on different networks, and the scanning server is also the same, I just need to point the scanning server to use the other ip address.
Do I need to re-install the scanning service?
Thanks

Stop your Lansweeper and web server services, update your database connection string in the service and web console configuration files and restart the services. Your config files are:
- Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Service\Lansweeperservice.exe.config
- Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Website\web.config
- Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Service\Lansweeperservice.exe.config
