All of my computers keep going to Non-Active status when Lansweeper fails to scan them. For example I have a computer that was scanned on Friday the 13th but failed to scan on the 19th and Lansweeper set it to Non-Active. I verified my server settings and verified that it is not support to set to Non-Active till after it has not been seen for 30 days.

If I force a re-scan when the computer is up and running it goes back to active.

Problem just happened, emailed all requested info to support. Memory usage went from 115MB to over 3GB's in about 10 minutes.

Could you send a mail to support@lansweeper.com with the following:

- A link to this forum thread
- A screenshot of your scanning methods
- A screenshot of your scanning queue (when the problem occurs)
- The output of this report:
  SELECT t.AssetType, t.AssetTypename, COUNT(*) Assets
FROM tblAssets a JOIN tsysAssetTypes t ON a.Assettype = t.AssetType
GROUP BY t.AssetTypename, t.AssetType
ORDER BY 3 DESC

Appears to be a possible memory leak? Lansweeper service is taking up 8GB's of ram on my server and continues to climb slowing everything to crawl!

So far it appears to be working. I tested with a few computers and they did not go to non-active after a failed scan.

Trying hotfix, had the same issue.
Will post results.

So far the HotFix seemed to fix the computer scan and they are staying active.
