I installed Lansweeper with exe installation, I choose database on remote machine SQL Server 2000, I created DB, user, linked user on db with public and db_owner permission on db.

No tables was created.

i get
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid object name 'dbo.tsysreports'.

who creates tables ?
there is a script to populate db ?

With console i can access to db, burt no tables was found. Service also can't find tables (error.log).

Thank you very much.

Ok. Now I have installed without removing the check on database and it works. I had misinterpreted the significance of database check during installation wizard. I thought it was to install locally SQL express in automatic.

Thank you.

Thank you.

This is needed because you can install all the components on different machines.

Yes, I downloaded Lansweeper 3.2 installer, installing I chacked off database as I use SQL Server 2000, setting db infos on installation wizzard. Lansweeper install was ok, but no tables and user was created. I created user manually. But how can installer creates user and tables without access to db ? no info on db admin was asked during installation wizzard

Rob, did you downloaded the latest installer from our website?
There's no need to create a user, ... the installer should take care of this.
