Yesterday I started to upgrade LS from 3.5.2 to 4.0
In my configuration I use 3 servers, one for each funtion (db, service, web) and I have 15.000 assets for a 5GB db size.
First upgrade was for db server but after 16 hours it seems to be frozen on screen in attach.
Is it normal because of db size or not?

You can also delete the computers first en then start the upgrade, this will keep all customised reports and settings.

I have just 1 or 2 customizations so it isn't a problem.
I'm going to make a new installation.
For further upgrade I think you should find a better way to upgrade db with many records ...

Today is at the same point of yesterday ... 40 hours should be too much ... do you think I should stop and start again?

No, 15000 computers can take a long time, see the other thread.

I've seen it and I check upgrade status using select * from tblcomputers ... 950/15.000 in 40 hours ... it's ridicolous!!! 26 days to finish all records ...

The only solution I can see is to start with a new installation with an empty db ... today I'll take a decision.
