Thanks That was what I hoped would happen. As explanation, we have a large number of computers that are used "off net" for extended periods of time. When they are back on the network, I wanted Lansweeper to scan them again.

That's what's going to happen. Even if their firewall is turned on, you will still know they showed up.
With active scanning: Yes if active scanning detects that the computers logs on to a domain controller. (not if the computer object just sits there doing nothing)
