Deleting items

We would like to delete our network devices using the Lansweeper configuration tool so that they are rescanned again due to having new host names.

Just wanted to make sure that these items are not deleted permanently? That they will reappear once Lansweeper has discovered and scanned them?

Deleting machines from your database through the configuration console does not prevent them from being rescanned. You can delete items under Lansweeper\Scanned Computers and Lansweeper\Scanned Devices.
