While troubleshooting scanning issues we have found that workstations are dropping port 5000 packets. I want to verify that LS uses port 5000.

Hard to say since WMI uses dynamic ports.

If you configure your firewall to allow remote administration exception nothing should be blocked from lansweeper.

Outbound from the Client Pc. This is from the firewall log off of the client pc. 172.16.82.175 is the server that is running LanSweeper. We see it is using port 5000 on the client pc. Is this Lansweeper?

Inbound of outbound?

Lsclient connects from the client to the server on port 9524
The server connects to the clients on the windows remote administration ports (WMI/filesharing/remote registry)
