Entering purchased product keys

Hello everybody,

I am currently evaluating Lansweeper in our company, as we are having no proper license compliance system yet.

I was wondering if there is a way of entering purchased product keys (i.e. Office 2010) and comparing them to installed product keys on the client computers. The background is, we purchased around 30 to 40 Office 2010 retail licenses and need to know which licenses are already in use and which of them are free for installing on new clients.

Is there a way, workaround or a custom action to cover this need?

We plan to have the 5.0 beta ready by September this year. We hope to release the final version by the end of 2012 as well.

As we are planing to purchase a license compliance solution very soon: is there a timeline when version 5.0 (or even as beta) will be released? Maybe this year?

I am really confident with Lansweeper and I have to convince my boss 🙂

This feature will be in version 5.0 which is currently in development
