I have am unable to scan 30% of my machines as a result of the "RPC Unavailabe" error. I added the domain admin as a member of the local admins on all of the machines.
1. When I try to run a scan on a machine then I get a "error on page" error in IE. How do I run a manual scan.
2. I see that some of the machine in the RCP unavailabe list has software and hardware info if I open them individually. I am confused. Can I then assume that the machines that has been picke up with software will be reflected in the sofware reports even if it indicated that it has not been scanned.
Regards
Andries

RPC unavailable is mostly caused by firewall errors, please consult our knowledgebase.
1) you need to make some changes to the internet explorer security settings (there are some screenshots in the documentation)
2) Scanning uses remote registry and WMI, in this case it looks like the remote registry is working but the WMI isn't.
