I am using Lansweeper 4.2.0.70 installed on a Windows 2003 server. After I have found the computer that I want to remotely uninstall software from I click the Uninstall Software link and it gives me an error in a pop up, the error is 800A0046. I am working directly on the server where Lansweeper is installed, the server and the computer that I am trying to unistall the software from are in the same domain and I am logged into the server as a user with domain admin rights.
If I try to start remoteuninst.exe using the unc path it comes back with an error that Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
If I go to the file from Windows explorer I can start the program, but when I select the computer and the software to uninstall it never uninstalls anything it just runs and runs.
I have verified that the user I am logged in as has full privileges on the \\notrealcomputername\lansweeper$ share.
Can anyone help me fix this issue?
