Engaged Sweeper II
Hello,

We are having Heterogenous Network connectivity with Multiple Branches.

I would like to know what port range needs to be enabled in our Firewall for
lansweeper to work.

As of now we have opened 9524,135

Is it possible to make lansweeper scan only via certain port range ,ie., 2000 to 2010

Kindly advice what ports needs to be enabled for in our network.

If you use lsclient you will need to open port 9524 on the server.

All scanning is triggered by the server. It connects to port 135 on the client first and then the communication is using random ports.

If you want to use fixed ports read this : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb219447(VS.85).aspx

The server also connect to your sql server (port 1433) and to the domain controllers if you use active scanning (port 389)
